The Lost Tapes - mid '70's to early '80's

Years ago I took the reel-to-reel recordings made back "in-the-day" and
mixed them down to mini-discs. I found the mini-discs and recorded them onto
computer. The back-room informal recordings include Billy Martin, Zack Johnson,
Ricky Walker (Poor Man's Country Band), Beverly Richey, Kathy Hargrove and me.
Some of my recordings are just playing or singing along with an album recording
and/or experimenting with reel-to-reel multi-track recording.
Of course they have all the mistakes and "warts", but it's a piece of that time.

Robin - Poor Man's Country Band

Poor Man's Country Band was Ricky, Robin and Paul.
Sometimes Billy, Zack and I would sit in with them like
at this bar:


One time Ricky had an original song and his Poor Man's Country Band was invited to go on
The Little Ol’ Show That Comes on After Monty Python that aired on KPRC TV from 1975 to 1980.
Ricky asked me to join in for the videotaping of his original song and Pure Prairie League's "Amy" and I was
able to tour the KPRC recording studio. They only broadcast the original song when the segment aired.
Since it was simulcast on radio, I was able to record it when it was shown.

In the mid-'80's, Billy opened at The Parlour for me when I was in
Mixed Emotions the couple of times we had to keep the volume
down and we weren't allowed to bring in drums.
